大甲媽祖繞境
大甲媽祖繞境是台灣非常重要的民俗活動。
每年的農曆三月，就會舉辦這個活動。
繞境的時間長達九天八夜，從台中大甲鎮瀾宮一路到嘉義新港奉天宮。
每年的此時，來自全台上萬的信徒，都會來到這裡，跟著媽祖一起進香繞境。途中會經運台中彰化及嘉義，停駐超運一百多座的廟宇。
此活動是為了祈求媽祖能帶給人們平安幸福健康及財富。
Dajia Matsu Pilgrimage
This is a very huge religious event in Taiwan.
Long time ago, there was a woman named 林默娘, she died by trying save her fisherman
father in the sea. In order to honor her, people call her “Matsu” and believe
that she will t protect all the
fishing boats in the sea.
Matsu is also treated as a God Mother of Taiwan. She is kind and generous to
Taiwan people. Every March there will be a paradise especially held for Matsu.
For Daijia 鎮瀾Temple in Taichung, all the way to
XingGong 奉天Temple in ChiaYi
This event will held for 9 days More than 10 thousands of people will attend.
The believers from all over the Taiwan will come to join this Pilgramage.
They will visit every little temples in the road, to ask for healthiness and
wealthyness from Matsu.
People along the road will serve hot food and beverage for free, it is a great
time to witness the kindness of Taiwanese people, how this belief holds them together!
介紹馬祖風景區
馬祖是位在台灣的西北方的一個小島，
它的地理位置 非常接近中國大陸。
馬祖島大部份是由花崗岩組成，歷經千萬年的風化及侵蝕，形成壯麗的
險崖峭壁。
馬祖因為洋流交會，所以漁產非常豐富。也因此吸引了很多候島在此築巢及繁殖後代。很多保育的鳥類都在這裡可以看到牠的踪跡。
馬祖房舍，多是使用當地的黃色花崗岩或大陸青石築成的石頭屋，非常涼爽透氣。
在過去，馬祖是一個軍事重地，目前則是一個充滿戰地風情的觀光勝地。
Mazu is a small island in West North
Taiwan.
It is very close to China, therefore, the location is used for military purpose
in the past.
Now it has become a beautiful national science area.
In Mazu, you can see houses built by yellow or blue rocks, and a lot of
historical buildings.
Mazu is also a dream land for many birds. Especially in June to August, many people
come to see a special bird call: 黑嘴端鳳頭燕鷗
Less than 100 of this birds left in the world, even BBC News in England has
report on this big finding.
